End Feb+Beg Mar was a month of holidays. Chinese New Year was absolute fun, great food, great catchup with my favourite cousins and party with the bestie, not to mention the introduction of the bf to my close cousins. Bali after that and then Phuket in March.

Nice.

After which, I worked everyday like a machine. It was very easy to get back into that drill. Wake up at 720am every weekday, get out of the house by 820am, into the office by 9am, lunch+gym, end work by 7pm, dinner, in bed by 12am and the whole thing starts again the next day. Weekends zoom by really fast...and then it's the whole hum dum of things again.

Decided to clear some leave Thursday and Friday so that I could have some me-time. My immune system is @ the borderline now...a soft cough here and a sniffle there...doing anything stupid(like drinking till 3am) would just break me. I am truly tired.

Just a short break and I am ready to get back on track again. And then next month I'll be heading to Bkk with my ladies. Hope we will be able to have a blast. Pun not intended.

I work from about 9am to about 630pm, which is what I love about the new job.Work-life balance has always been very important to me, I have so much to do with my life!

Kinda like the work I am doing right now. The management might change the job scope in the near future, hmm but I can't worry about everything so I have to just wait and see. That's the problem with bigger banks, at first say this, later say that. -_-"

Lunch time I have the luxury to go to the gym at the next building for yoga/a quick run/just a shower if I feel like it.

So I end work about 6ish, meet the boyfriend for dinners or meet the girls for drinks(sometimes will bump into friends which is also awesome) or just go about doing my own shopping and spending some good ol' evie time(which includes masking, surfing the net, online shopping).

Weekends is gym*bf*gfs*friends*parties*dinners*doing nothing*occasional short getaways.

Yay! Uber pretty! The SA gave me this free disgusting pouch(free for all sony digicams) and I said,"Omg so ugly!" loudly. Couldn't help it...it was really U-G-L-Y! Haha, I asked him back if he would use it and he laughed. Hahah.

He wanted to sell me some other pouch but it was ugly too(albeit better than the free black one) then I decided to walk to Sony Gallery to have a look at the pouches. Thank goodness I did! And thank goodness I walked 1/2 step faster than usual(due to my upbeatness)!

The boss asked me why the risk of a particular bond is so small even though the nominal/notional(potato/potahto) is pretty substantial. And I kept staring and staring and I gave that usual blank face I give hoping for a clue or an answer given to me.

Turns out he wasn't prepared to budge.

So I had a good look at the data again and I looked at the date...hmm we still have a good 5 years to 2010 maturity wat...why still so little risk?

Haha then suddenly I realise I was still living in the past. And it had such a tiny risk because it's about to expire like...soon...like 1 week!

I never accepted that piece of news and I manage my tears well. I hate crying in front of people. I feel that it shows my weaker side and I hate it. Maybe they think I'm some heartless person I don't care.

But today, when I saw his body for the first time. Even walking towards it made me cry. It was real....I had to accept it now. That's him. The guy who was an amazing friend to everyone. I wonder if I did enough to deserve such a nice friend. And the waterworks started. I even tried to stifle my cries, that's how bloody full of pride I was.

I didn't wail la, that's for sure.

There was a part where we all had to bow 3 times to him, and I couldn't take it.

It was fucking weird.

This is the first time I ever lost a friend. Like REALLY lose a friend. I have never experienced loss like this before. This is so fucking weird.

I am the WORST at consoling people. I just don't have that kind of motherly/social worker instinct. Cos when I saw my bf crying on a friend's shoulder I thought to myself maybe he needed that kind of maternal comfort that I cannot give(lol), and I don't know how to handle a grown crying man. But after that I went up to him lah and tried to make him feel better abit by talking and holding hands.

Tried to keep the distraught wife company, but again I don't know how to say all those comforting words. What I did was input all the important numbers in her phone and tell her little stories about her that her husband told me(which made her cry somemore, shit) and I told her to take care of herself because its gg to be a hard journey ahead(I am a very straight person). It is what!

I know that about myself and I don't expect people to console me. I believe in karma, in that sense. So when I was crying and being consoled, I tried very hard to stop crying, because I want people to stop consoling me.

It's not ok! People die leh. How to be ok? Then can you tell me what is ok?

Ok I am being evil because people also probably not know what to say(like me).

Somemore people just told me I looked tired. Of cos crying makes your eyes puffy and tired wat! Thats another reason why I hate to cry in front of people cos after that my eyes just tells the story.

I was actually wishing that this was a joke. A big prank. Suddenly he will pop out of the coffin. Damn..and that coffin. Seeing your friend in there...is not very nice. That's for sick and old people. Who are in the natural course of their life...not like that!?

So today was damn hard. But I'm sure it was harder for the wife and the father. I wish that everyone just dies after me, so I don't have to handle all this sadness all over again.

We take a lot of things for granted. And this really made me realize that I shouldn't waste time sweating the small stuff. And I better do that 10km run in 2010 or else who knows...I might never get the chance to do it.

Monday - Lost Ipod Touch

Friday - Finally realised why it might have crashed. No solution. But am gonna try something new to improve the speed a bit....

Saturday - Got a parking ticket. $30. Decided that my luck was really out of this world, and went to buy 4d.

Saturday & Sunday - What was I supposed to expect with such lousy luck? Communication error with friend, initially thought it was for next Sunday, but it was actually TODAY. Too late by the time I realised....so have to wait till another time when the friend flies to Sg again.

Today is probably one of the worst day of my life. Lost the ipod in the gym...I left my ipod on the bench, went over to the other side to grab my shoes and I come back and it's fucking gone. FUCK FUCK FUCK that bitch who sneakily took my ipod. What I wouldn't give to find out who she is. I wished I had the music on and I could hear it through the lockers and then I wait for her to come back and then I will slap her and kick her and grab her hair and then smash her face at the lockers, with those keys sticking out. I will throw her on the floor and then kick her in the guts with my heels.

WHAT I WOULDN'T GIVE to do that....

ARGH.

I'm especially sad because this is one of the first few things that the bf gave me and I am very sentimental about things like that. I refuse to throw away things or "upgrade" to a better one because all these are gifts from great friends(or in this case the bf) and in the end I have a lot of stuff lying around in the house. I am a mess.

Anyway...how could anyone steal such a personal thing? It's as personal as a panty! My songs, my videos, my games, my ebooks, my emails. Damn. I really loved that ipod. Many years ago, I heard of this brand LORAC on tv. Singapore does not carry this brand(yet), I actually got this in Sephora in San Francisco(with the NARS, told you I'm a makeup junkie) and love love love love love love love the eye shadows and realised what maketh a good eyeshadow!

The colors are easy to blend for smokey eye(I always never fail to use the grey for base, then the dark blue(next to the black) to blend and then the black to line the eyes. The intensity of the colors are great! It lasts too! Not those cheap eyeshadows that look nice on your hand and then they look too light or hard to build up on your eyes! Argh! I hate those!

Taken a year ago, but using the palette. Not super smokey lah! I'm asian! So I don't have those big dark inset eyes...

Now I'm thinking of purchasing another eyeshadow palette from LORAC. So niceeeee!!!

You just need to run this once and because the schedule is auto-True, means it will continue to run at the same time everyday. But if you close your excel, then the scheduler stops and it would be great to tag this Ontime method to a workbook_open event so it will auto run it when the excel is re-opened then you shouldn't have much of a problem.

One of my objectives set for my appraisal this year, was to be able to assist and share my knowledge with my peers within the department(big department but split into diff work functions). She asked if I could help her with automating a run at 1am every night.

Useful for people who would like to run their excel macros at specific time/times of the day. I love macros and automation. It's like a awesome world for the lazy people. You have to do all these things, but if you do them everyday it gets so bloody boring, or maybe you are required to do them at inhumane hours.

I've been following Andrea Fonseka's blog for a couple of days now, and sometimes I do see her when I club at Attica(I think she's nice) and I've heard that she was rather pudgy when she was Ms Malaysia so I searched for it and I found it.

Hot or what! She looks extra hot because she has the height to carry it off(all 1.8m of it) but I mean we all can do it too(to those who always want to lose weight but always fail)! We can't make our legs longer(to 1.8m..or maybe we can...hmm) but we can lose weight and learn some makeup tricks to look better.

She's an inspiration to me now to lose the pounds again. I've been so lazy lately.

I've been updating my blog almost everyday for about a week now, either via twitter(lazy mode) or really writing something!

There's nothing much to do online for me. Facebook is getting dull, I've been adding random people and being added by random people for the Sorority Life online game. Initially it was fun, then later it got pretty boring and now I'm just really turned off by that game, I don't know why I still log on once in awhile anyway. I'd shop online, but seriously how much can I buy!? I would surf F21 from page 1 to 100 and from 100 to 1 again trying to add stuff into my basket so that I'd hit the free shipping amount(maybe I only like 2 items).

I found myself reading blogs much more again and being really impressed with the new blogger user interface and found all the cute widgets that you can add to your blog and suddenly realizing maybe I don't mind having a new site at blogspot again. The old blackhighheels blogspot is just fcuking tainted by the old mistaken identity incident that I don't really want to go back to it anymore.

There weren't as many blogs as now as compared to say maybe 4-5 years ago(when I started blackhighheels). Now all the celebrities are blogging and there are so many pretty cute young girls blogging now too! So cute! Like from JJ magazine that type! (Try tiramisuwithlove, so cute!) Makes me wish I was a little younger too...

When you have a formula in your excel cell, and if it gives a boolean answer, take note that the TRUE you see is in fact True.

And because my code was searching for "TRUE", it failed and I spent a good half hour to find out what was bloody wrong with the logic.

After the whole merry-go-round with other online journals, I find myself back at blogspot again. I got bored with blogging, I got protective of myself, and now I feel like sharing things with the world again. I wonder how long this feeling would last. Let's see...

Always wanted to do the Carrie Bradshaw thing...having a cuppa and tapping away on the Macbook and sharing her thoughts. I love Sex and the City. I can keep watching reruns and still laugh at the same jokes. It's great that they are gonna have the 2nd movie(I thought the first movie was the last we'll ever see of the quartet), but if they want to keep doing "last" movies, they may as well go back to doing season 7.

Ah...blogspot is awesome at dragging and pasting pictures. I could get used to this.

I've just got my new Macbook Air, I have my iMac at home and I'm so bored. Why not start blogging again? The name of the blog was thought up just 2 hours ago with me face down having a chinese Tui-Na massage with a hangover and 5 hours of sleep.
